Aryan: A Players Reflection

I joined West Brom Basketball Club over four years ago as part of the U15s team. At the time, I had no experience playing competitive basketball, but from day one, the coaches and players welcomed me like family. Since then, I’ve grown with the club, earning both personal and team achievements that reflect the hard work and determination I’ve put in from the start.

Winning the league in my first season was a huge confidence boost and a perfect introduction to what it takes to succeed. That experience set the tone for the seasons that followed, teaching me valuable lessons through both victories and setbacks. Each year has helped shape me—not just as a player, but as a person.

The relationships I’ve built with teammates, coaches, and even opponents have been just as important as anything I’ve achieved on the court. They’ve helped me mature into a young adult, and those tough moments—injuries, losses, or dips in form—have pushed me to grow. I’m especially grateful for the coaches, who’ve always supported me through challenges and helped me adapt and improve.

Looking back, my time at West Brom has been nothing short of transformative. I’ve developed my skills in a competitive, yet supportive environment that truly sets this club apart. I’m proud to be part of this team and excited to keep giving my all for the club in the seasons ahead.
