Last night our mens team successfully booked their place in the Clive Hurst Summer League Semi Finals. After a tough start to this years Summer League our men matched up against Walsall Wizards, with the winner going through to the quarter finals.
Both teams started the game trading baskets as was the case for most of the first half. West Brom took a narrow 29-21 lead going into the half time break.
The second half was scrapier with both teams battling to book their place in the quarter finals. Despite a late run from Walsall, West Brom were able to hold on to their lead winning the game 44-40.
The team now look to prepare for their Quarter Final match up with foamier foes Lordswood.
