WEST BROM BASKETBALL CLUB IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE IT’S NEW SPONSORSHIP WITH UTILITA ENERGY.
Utilita are the largest energy supplier outside the big six. They are the innovators of their field installing the UK’s very first ‘smart meter’ in 2008.
Unlike nearly all the major energy suppliers Utilta have scrapped the ‘standing charge’, meaning if you are away from home and are not using any energy there is absolutely no charges from Utilita.
Utilita’s ground-breaking apps allow their customers to control their energy needs on the go. While using the app all customers are reminded that everyone has a weekly chance of winning prizes. To win these prizes, such as a £50 gift card, all you have to do is be a customer!
Utilta have many other high-profile sponsorships around the UK, many are with football but the sponsorship agreement with West Brom Basketball Club is the first with a Basketball Club.
It was clear from the outset that West Brom Basketball Club and Utilta had a synergy with their common belief in community development. West Brom Basketball Club has over 150 members involving all age groups from Under 9’s through to the Senior teams. West Brom Basketball Club are a totally inclusive Club welcoming all age groups and both sexes as well as visiting local Schools to provide expert coaching and mentoring.

Part of that inclusive involvement is demonstrated through the regular Basketball Camps the Club provides to school children during the school holidays. These camps have become extremely popular with both the children and the parents. The aim is to have fun and improve the basketball skills of all who attend regardless of their ability.
For next year’s holiday camps Utilita are now the official Club Sponsor for the West Brom Basketball Club Camps.
