Next up we hear from Roshawn and his family about their thoughts on being a part of West Brom Basketball Club under 11s.
“I had decided to let my son join a basketball club because I thought he needed something to keep him fit. I also started getting into basketball near my late teens and I wanted Roshawn to get into it much earlier.
He’s happy to be playing with other children and meeting new friends at the club because they’re very nice to him.
Before the lockdown because of the pandemic, we were told that he has huge potential in basketball as he was nominated to join Aspire West Midlands which made us proud. He is now very dedicated to playing basketball and progressing as much as he can and we will be there to support him all the way.
We’re very happy with the club and the coaches are very good and likeable.”
We would love to hear form more of you so send us in your thoughts of being apart of West Brom Basketball Club along with a picture to info@westbrombasketball.co.uk. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
