Today our under 13s enjoyed their first ever victory in the third round of the LTG Cup competition as they played host to Nuneaton Predators. With both teams chasing their first win of the season, Coach Cameron and his squad were confident they would be able to pick up their first victory of the year.
After a slow start to the game the score was tied at 4-4 however a 16-2 scoring run led by Tristan saw West Brom take a commanding 20-6 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter saw a balanced attack from the hosts who were able to build on the lead ending the first half up 40-11.
With a growing lead Coach Cameron used the second half as an opportunity to provide much needed court time and valuable experience to all of the under 13s. The final score of 74-23 will give the under 13s confidence moving forward.
