We must also take this time to recognise the great work of our partners JustPlayUK who celebrated international women’s day with a girls only basketball session. The session marks the launch of our new junior girls sessions which will be starting in April in addition to our already thriving women’s session. Working in partnership, we hope to to raise the profile of women’s and girls basketball in our region and provide a suitable and accessible environment for girls to take part in basketball.
