Following a successful regular season four of our teams will be competing in their Playoff Semi-Final games this week. Starting with the mens team tonight as they travel to Birmingham Mets in the West Midlands Premier League Playoffs. The team booked their place in the Semi-Final following a hard fought overtime win against Churchbridge last Thursday. With just seven players the team were able to dig deep and outscore the hosts 12-4 in the extra quarter to take a 84-76 win to book their place in the Semi-Final.
On Friday our mens development team host the Walsall 99ers in the second leg of their Playoff Semi-Final in the YBL Development League. After a narrow five point loss in their first leg, the development team will have to be at their best on Friday to book their place in the Finals.
On Saturday our under 15s and under 17s travel to Nechells for their Semi-Final match ups. Up first Coach Preware and his under 15s take on Bournville Bears. The under 15s are confident this can be their year having come up short in last years final. Coach Sheridan and his under 17s follow as they take on Redditch Royals. The under 17s are hoping to book their place in the YBL finals for a third straight year as they look to defend their YBL title.
