Following the success of our Third Annual Presentation Evening we have compiled short video highlights of our teams in action this season. Check them out on YouTube. Enjoy highlights of our under 15s, 17s, 19s, men and women teams in action.
Our under 15s enjoyed their most successful season to date. Winning their league and making it to the YBL finals before being edged out by Redditch Raptors.
Our under 17s enjoyed a very successful campaign, finishing the season undefeated in all competitions while winning the league and YBL title for the second consecutive year.
Our under 19s had an up and down season with many younger members of the club stepping up to compete in this age group. They finished the season league runners up behind eventual under 19 champions Sporting Club Albion.
Our men’s team enjoyed a successful first season in West Midlands Basketball League Division 1, finishing the season as league runners up, playoff finalists and summer league finalists. They now look ahead to next season where they will compete in the WMBL premier competition.
Our women’s team also enjoyed a very successful first season. They were the youngest team competing in the West Midlands Women’s Basketball League. Our girls finished the season league runners up, cup and playoff semi-finalists. Next season our girls will compete in the WMWBL as well as the new YBL u19s women’s league.
